Chalmers Innovation’s goal is to employ its unique competence to transform nascent technological ideas into successful growth companies. We are a non-profit making foundation established by Chalmers University of Technology. This means that we do not have any owners to pay out profits to. Instead, we can use such funds to invest additional time and money in new technology-based growth companies. Chalmers appoints the members of our board of directors but we are free to also work with and finance ideas outside the Chalmers sphere as long as they match our criteria. Chalmers Innovation contributes to growth generation in the region and in Sweden in the form of new enterprises and jobs. |
