2001 – Not only advisors

Between 1999 and 2001, Chalmers Innovation commited itelf to the start-up of 29 new companies. We co-acted with the companies, by being advisors, and affected the development through giving inspiration and supplying our comapnies with a network of professional players whom were established in the innovation system.

In 2001 the Chalmers Innovation pre-incubator activities were initiated and enabled a possibility of direct investment into our companies. From being just advisors and landlords we went to becoming investors which gave us opportunities to actively catalyze our companies future development. This has also enabled us to work more actively and engage ourselves in the companies.

2002 – Investment partner

Since 2002 Chalmers Innovation has been Innovationsbrons (www.innovationsbron.se) investment partner. This means that a company within Chalmers Innovation has access to yet another 1 MSEK in investment capital.
