The growth-generator is custom-made for young technologically based companies that already conduct sales of their products and that want to accelerate their growth by establishing themselves on new markets. This year, eight new growth ventures will be accepted to the growth-generator program.

Company development process

The growth-generator is a combined company development process and management program for the managerial body of the technologically based growth venture. The program is based on a joint collaboration between Chalmers Innovation and CHAMPS where on-site experience from real comapanies undergoing growth and professional management development are weaved together.

Every participating company are representated by the MD and an additional individual from the manegerial body. The growth-generator is designed on the basis of  inteviews with leaders and mangers from young growth ventures and earlier learnings from last years program. The starting point is always the reality which the participants operate in everyday life.

The program i comprised by a total of five modules strechting over a year. Focus will be  put on the own company with but a continous dialogue with other participants will constitute a vital part for You when tackleing and finding solutions to the same issues as  the other participants. Every module demands preparation and a follow-up where the work with Your company will be presented to the others in the group including the angel investors linked to the program.

The growth-generator program is led by Sören Sjölander and Henrik Jansson. The modules are carried out together with experts from respective areas of expertise that are discussed during the program.  

The companies qualified for applying to the growth-generator must have:

  • 1-15 million SEK in turnover
  • a miximum of 30 employees
  • several potential buisness segments
  • finances for the nearest couple of years

Göran Netzler
Experienced entrepreneur and founder and director of Netzler & Dahlgren Co which was sold in 2001.

Lennart Svantesson
Has lot of experience from leading positions and different board of directors in growth ventures, has previously been the director of Bure and Scribona.

Tomas Wängberg
Former director of Pharmadule-Emtunga during an expansive period when the company grew from 200 to 700 employees and the turnover increased with 380 per cent in three years.
Gino Vettese
Former president of the Linné Group. Is today acting as a mentor for companies ecperiencing massive change. has been in several board of directors for qouted as well as unqouted companies.

  1. Strategy and Buisness modulation

    Buisness models that create a correct position in the value chain and leads to profitable growth.

  1. Sales and Negotiations
    Sales strategies, establishment of a sales culture and implementation of effective sales meetings. How to obtain closure and follow-up of existing customers.

  1. Marketing and Communication
    How do you look upon the market and how does the market perceive Your company? Processes for development of offers giving the company a fruitfull and satisfying position on the market.

  1. Leadership and Organization suitable for growth
    Leadership and group dynamics towards a common picture. What organizatorial factors are crucial for growth? How do you build organizations open to new competences and learning processes.

Cost

Participation in the growth-generator program costs 150,000 SEK per company. This means two personnel from your company are welcome to participate on every occasion. Through a collaboration with the Västra Götalandsregionen it's possible for companies from this region to apply for a consultant check for 75,000 SEK as a way of financing participation in the growth-generator program.
