This first part in Researchers Program discusses different protection strategies, with focus on patents. When is it time apply for a patent? How much will a patent cost? What are the legal concequences of my patent?Denna första del i Researchers Program behandlar olika skyddsstrategier med fokus på patent. När ska man patentera, hur mycket kostar det och vilka rättsliga följder får mitt patent? We will also discuss other types of protection when patents are not a possibility.

This session will be the first of three sessions in Researchers Program. It will be held in English. After having participated in this session you will know what protection strategy that is most suitable for your business idea and what it means for you to have a patent. Shall I publish or patent my research results or can I do both?
